Ayung River White Water Rafting is Bali's number-one adventure activity — a perfect blend of adrenaline, natural beauty, and cultural discovery. The Ayung River flows through a breathtaking 80-meter deep gorge south of Ubud, flanked by lush tropical jungle, cascading waterfalls, and ancient Balinese stone relief carvings that have lined the riverbanks for centuries.
Our rafting experience covers 9 kilometers of the river, navigating Grade II–III rapids that are exciting enough for first-timers yet thrilling enough for seasoned adventurers. With a maximum of 4 people per raft and highly trained certified guides, safety is always our priority without sacrificing the fun.
The journey begins with a full safety briefing and equipment fitting — life jackets, helmets, and paddles are all provided. As you launch into the gorge, the jungle closes in around you, and the sounds of the city are immediately replaced by birdsong, rushing water, and the laughter of your group.
Highlights along the river include a hidden waterfall perfect for swimming, towering bamboo forests that arch overhead like a green cathedral, and the famous stone relief carvings of the Ayung gorge. After the 2-hour paddle, enjoy a traditional Indonesian buffet lunch at our riverside pavilion with sweeping jungle views.
